Position Summary:
The Assistant Project Engineer - Mining will support the execution of mining and mineral consulting assignments by assisting in technical analysis, project documentation, proposal preparation, and project coordination. The role is suitable for a motivated mining/mineral engineer who is interested in feasibility studies, mine planning support, technical studies and consulting projects across the mining and mineral value chain.
Key responsibilities
Technical Support
· Assist in the preparation of pre-feasibility studies (PFS), feasibility studies, detailed project reports (DPRs), mining plans, and technical reports.
· Compile and analyze geological, exploration, mining, production, and operational data.
· Prepare mining-related calculations, equipment requirement estimates, productivity assessments, and material handling analyses.
· Support technical evaluations of mining and mineral processing projects.
Documentation and Reporting
· Prepare technical reports, presentations, annexures, data sheets, and project documentation.
· Develop charts, tables, and analytical summaries using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Maintain project documentation, data records, and report version control.
· Assist in preparing client submissions and technical presentations.
· Preparation of technical input for techno-commercial assessment
Proposal and Tender Support
· Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, EOIs, tenders, and bid documentation.
· Compile project experience, technical credentials, compliance documents, and supporting information.
· Coordinate with internal teams for technical inputs required for proposal submissions.
Project Coordination
· Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and submission timelines.
· Coordinate with geology, mining, processing, laboratory, and engineering teams for data collection.
· Follow up on technical inputs, client queries, and project documentation.
· Prepare meeting minutes and track action-item progress.
Research and Field Support
· Conduct technical research related to mining methods, equipment, mineral processing, and regulatory requirements.
· Assist in site visits, data collection, sampling coordination, and technical investigations when required.
· Support benchmarking and analysis of mining and mineral industry projects.
Qualifications
· B.E./B.Tech in Mining/Mineral Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in mining and mineral consultancy, project engineering.
Required Skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Good analytical and numerical skills.
· Technical report writing and documentation ability.
· Basic understanding of mining methods or mineral beneficiation technology.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
