Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Paper Technology or related engineering discipline.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who has hands-on experience in Paper Coating, Butter Paper, Sublimation Paper, Release Paper, Thermal Paper or similar Paper Converting Manufacturing industries.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, coating process management, machine utilization, manpower handling, quality control, preventive maintenance coordination and continuous process improvement.
This role requires a leader who can independently manage the complete production floor while achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards and minimizing manufacturing losses.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Operations
- Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime.
- Maximize machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Monitor production capacity and manpower allocation.
Coating Machine Operations
- Manage complete coating line operations.
- Ensure proper coating quality, GSM, moisture level and product consistency.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to coating process.
- Optimize coating chemical consumption and reduce wastage.
Paper Converting & Finishing
- Supervise slitting, rewinding, cutting and finishing operations.
- Ensure proper packaging standards before dispatch.
- Improve line productivity and reduce rejection.
Production Quality
- Ensure production follows customer specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team.
- Maintain SOPs, GMP, 5S and Safety Standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Machine Performance
- Coordinate with Maintenance Department.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules.
- Reduce machine breakdown time.
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor raw material consumption.
- Control coating chemical wastage.
- Reduce production loss.
- Coordinate with Stores & Purchase Department.
Team Management
- Lead Production Supervisors, Operators and Helpers.
- Conduct production meetings.
- Train employees on SOPs and safety.
- Maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
