Position: Senior Software Engineer – Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Key Responsibilities
Act as the senior developer for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation,
providing technical leadership across the full development lifecycle.
Design, develop, test, and support customizations, extensions, integrations, and
reports in D365 F&O.
Integrate D365 F&O with other systems across the organization using APIs, Data
Entities, OData, REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices, patterns,
and performance standards.
Mentor and guide other developers, contributing to the Centre of Excellence.
Manage deployments, environment configuration, diagnostics, monitoring, and CI/CD
pipelines using Azure DevOps and Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).
Support D365 F&O project environments, release processes, and go-live activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments with Scrum ceremonies
and a DevOps culture.
Experience and Knowledge
Minimum 7+ years of experience designing and developing functionalities in Microsoft
Dynamics AX or D365 F&O using X++, including at least 2 years in the latest D365 F&O
version.
Strong functional and technical experience in Finance modules including General
Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Project Accounting.
Extensive experience building and customizing forms, tables, classes, and reports, with
hands-on expertise in SSRS and system integrations.
Experience delivering data migrations in transformation projects.
Hands-on experience managing and deploying D365 F&O environments in Microsoft
Azure using LCS, including diagnostics, monitoring, configuration, and Azure DevOpsbased CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience providing technical support for D365 F&O projects and managing
release cycles.
Experience with ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Skills and Attributes
Deep understanding of D365 F&O architecture, extensibility models, Chain of
Command (CoC), design patterns, and development best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex
functional and technical issues.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with a high aptitude for learning and mastering new technologies.
Ability to work effectively in onshore/offshore delivery models and contribute to both
immediate teams and the Centre of Excellence.
Ability to evaluate, challenge, and refine functional and technical requirements and
design.
Desirable: experience working on legacy transformation projects or legacy code,
including performance optimization and tuning of D365 F&O solutions.
Proven capability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, and design
contributions.
