Technical & Machining Skills:
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, sketches, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Machine Setup & Operation: Expertise in setting up workpieces using chucks, collets, and faceplates. Experience in performing manual turning, facing, drilling, knurling, and threading is essential.
- Speed & Feed Calculation: Calculating optimal spindle speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut for specific materials and required surface finishes.
- Tooling Selection: Knowledge of different cutting tools (e.g., high-speed steel, carbide inserts), selecting the right tool for the job, and grinding tools manually when necessary.
- Material Knowledge: Understanding the properties of various metals (e.g., steel, brass, aluminum) and plastics, and how they behave under different machining conditions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
