Chai Pe Charcha Café is looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing continental dishes, maintaining food quality, ensuring kitchen hygiene, and managing food preparation efficiently during service hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present continental dishes with consistency and quality.
- Develop and maintain recipes according to café standards.
- Ensure food is prepared fresh and served on time.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
- Coordinate with management for menu planning and special offerings.
- Train and guide kitchen assistants when required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Continental Chef.
- Knowledge of pasta, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, sauces, and café-style continental cuisine.
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
