Maliyakkal Roller Flour Mills (P) Ltd. is looking for an experienced Lab Technician to ensure consistent quality of wheat, flour, and finished products through accurate testing, analysis, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have experience in flour milling laboratories and a strong understanding of food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical and chemical analysis of wheat and finished products.
- Conduct routine quality tests including moisture, ash, water absorption, and other quality parameters.
- Monitor incoming raw materials and ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Inspect products at various stages of production and report any deviations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure accurate test results.
- Record, analyze, and maintain laboratory data and quality reports.
- Coordinate with the Production and Milling teams to maintain product consistency.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards.
- Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper housekeeping within the laboratory.
- Assist in product development, quality improvement initiatives, and internal quality audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a roller flour mill or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of wheat and flour quality testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Good analytical, documentation skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
