Glazing Society of India (GSI) is looking for a Technical Engineer / Jr. Technical Engineer to support technical activities related to Glass, Glazing Systems, Building Envelopes, Testing, Certification, Codes and Standards.
The role involves working with testing facilities, industry professionals, academia and technical teams to support the development of safe, energy-efficient and technically advanced building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain technical processes, procedures and modules for Testing and Certification Services.
- Support the development and implementation of Codes and Standards related to glass, glazing systems and associated materials.
- Monitor and coordinate Testing and Certification programmes.
- Coordinate with testing facilities and provide technical support for testing activities.
- Assist in the continuous improvement and advancement of existing and new testing facilities.
- Perform technical research and support improvements related to glass and glazing systems.
- Monitor and update technical and non-technical content on the GSI website.
- Interact and coordinate with industry members, non-members, manufacturers, consultants and academia on technical matters.
- Support initiatives related to safe and energy-efficient buildings.
- Participate in quality audits, energy audits and technical assessments where required.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, procedures and presentations.
- Support and organize technical events, conferences, workshops and training programmes.
- Represent GSI in relevant technical forums and industry discussions.
- Stay updated with developments in glass, glazing, façade systems, testing methods, standards and building technologies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous technical improvement and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Architecture / B.Arch
- M.E. / M.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
