Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project needs, ensuring that solutions are tailored effectively to support organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to application development, focusing on creating robust and scalable systems that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of development activities to ensure timely delivery of application components.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Should have experience in Blue printing, Fit -gap analysis, RICEF finalization
- Should have Implementation experience in 2 to 3 SAP projects
- Should have worked on RICEF functional designs
- Knowledge of Retail functionalities like Retail Master date (Article or hierarchies or Site /BP) Assortment/Purchase Costing / Promotion or Sourcing or Retail pricing or fulfillment and allocation
- Good To Have Skills: Implementation Experience in Retail Industry
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Exposure to green field implementation will be an added advantage.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
