Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to guide prospective candidates through the enrollment process. The role involves counseling students, explaining course offerings, and converting inquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Provide detailed information about courses, certifications, and career opportunities
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to ensure conversions
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM systems
- Assist students throughout the admission process (application to enrollment)
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding
- Meet and exceed admission targets
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities
- Good organizational and follow-up skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Experience in education counseling/admissions/sales is preferred
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
Work Environment:
- Office-based role (with telecalling and face-to-face counseling)
- Day shift / flexible hours based on admission cycles
