We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Business Analyst – Project Coordinator who can understand business requirements, interact with clients, coordinate with technical teams, and successfully manage e-commerce projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on E-commerce / Retail applications and should be familiar with areas such as Product Catalog, Search, Cart, Checkout, Payments, Orders, Inventory, Shipping/Logistics, Customer Management, and third-party integrations.
The candidate should also have a good understanding of APIs, databases, system integrations, Agile/Scrum, UAT, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand E-commerce business requirements and project objectives
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and process discussions
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Prepare BRD, FRD, User Stories, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and other project documentation
- Understand and document E-commerce workflows, including:
- Product Catalog & Product Management
- Search & Product Discovery
- Cart & Wishlist
- Checkout & Payments
- Order Management
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Shipping & Logistics
- Returns & Refunds
- Customer/Account Management
- Coordinate with Development, QA, Product, UI/UX, and other technical teams for project execution
- Manage project tasks, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and team coordination
- Coordinate Agile/Scrum activities including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Conduct client demos, presentations, requirement walkthroughs, and project status meetings
- Work closely with technical teams to understand and document REST APIs, JSON/XML, API workflows, and third-party integrations
- Understand database structures and perform basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis
- Coordinate with payment gateways, logistics providers, ERP, CRM, OMS, and other third-party systems where required
- Support UAT planning, test scenarios, defect tracking, release activities, and post-production support
- Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain project documentation and ensure effective communication between clients and internal teams
- Identify bottlenecks in business processes and suggest suitable solutions
- Use AI-powered tools to improve requirement documentation, analysis, reporting, workflow optimization, and project management
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis / Project Coordination
- Mandatory: Experience working on E-commerce / Retail projects or applications
- Strong understanding of E-commerce business processes and workflows
- Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and client communication
- Strong knowledge of BRD, FRD, User Stories, FSD, Process Flows, and functional documentation
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and system integrations
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and databases
- Understanding of payment gateways, order management, inventory, logistics, and third-party integrations
- Experience in UAT, defect management, release coordination, and production support
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of BI, data storytelling, and reporting concepts is an added advantage
- Experience using AI tools for business analysis, documentation, automation, reporting, and productivity is an added advantage
