JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE SUPERVISOR - Sri Sai Interiors
Position: Site Supervisor – Interior Projects
Department: Project Execution
Location: Chennai – Project Sites
Experience: 2–5 Years in Interior / Carpentry / Civil Works
Job Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day interior work at project sites.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ and specifications.
- Coordinate carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers and other site workers.
- Ensure proper sequence and timely completion of work.
2. Material Management
- Check materials received at site against the purchase/material list.
- Maintain proper material stock at the site.
- Inform the office immediately about shortage, damage or wrong materials.
- Ensure materials are properly stored and protected.
3. Measurement & Execution
- Take site measurements and verify dimensions before execution.
- Check levels, alignment, sizes and installation positions.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding any site measurement changes.
- Avoid material wastage and rework.
4. Quality Control
- Check workmanship and finishing quality at every stage.
- Ensure proper installation of plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings, painting and other interior works.
- Identify defects and get them rectified immediately.
- Ensure the site is kept clean and organised.
5. Labour Management
- Allocate daily work to workers based on project requirements.
- Monitor labour attendance and productivity.
- Coordinate with contractors and workers.
- Ensure workers follow site safety and work discipline.
6. Client & Office Coordination
- Coordinate with clients regarding site access and work requirements.
- Report site issues, changes and client instructions to the office.
- Do not commit additional work or price changes to clients without management approval.
- Coordinate with the project manager/office for approvals and decisions.
7. Daily Reporting
- Send daily site progress updates to the office.
- Share site photographs/videos of completed and ongoing work.
- Report material requirements in advance.
- Update pending works and reasons for delays.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of interior execution and carpentry works.
- Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, painting and related interior materials.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage workers and multiple activities at site.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, mobile photography and Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
- Must be responsible, punctual and willing to travel to project sites.
Key Performance Expectations
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring:

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
