Education : Degree / Diploma /CIPET
Mfg Exp : Blown Extrusion/Multi-Layer Extrusion
Salary : CTC Rs. 3.00 Lacs to 3.50 lacs
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate multilayer blown film extrusion machine
· Control temperature, die setting, bubble stability, and thickness
· Ensure consistent film quality as per specification
· Handle raw material charging and blending as per recipe
· Reduce scrap and process waste
· Coordinate with QC for quality validation
· Maintain machine logs and production reports
Blown Film – Extrusion Operator – Specific Tasks
Machine Setup & Start-up
· Check raw material recipe (polymer grade, additives, color masterbatch)
· Set die, air ring, nip roll, haul-off speed, and temperature zones
· Start machine and stabilize bubble formation
Process Control
· Maintain film thickness (micron) as per specification
· Control blow-up ratio, frost line height, and cooling air pressure
· Monitor gauge variation across film width
Quality Monitoring
· Conduct regular thickness testing (micron meter)
· Check clarity, gel content, and defects (black spots, fish eyes)
· Coordinate with QC for approval during production change
Raw Material Handling
· Ensure correct feeding and blending ratios
· Maintain hopper cleanliness and prevent contamination
Waste Control
· Minimize start-up scrap and breakage loss
· Track rejected rolls and reason-wise analysis
Maintenance Coordination
· Report die leakage, motor vibration, heater failure
· Assist maintenance during breakdown shutdowns
Documentation
· Maintain production log (output, micron variation, downtime
