Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, and expanding the company's market presence within the designated territory. The role involves regular field visits, lead generation, product presentations, customer negotiations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and market research.
- Meet prospective customers to promote the company's products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features and benefits.
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with the sales support team.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal departments for prompt resolution.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Market Development
- Conduct regular market surveys to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion in new markets.
- Gather and report market intelligence to management.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily reports of customer visits, sales activities, and follow-ups.
- Update customer information and sales pipeline in the CRM system.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the reporting manager.
- Maintain records of quotations, sales orders, and customer communications.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the Sales Coordinator, Operations, Finance, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Support collection of customer payments and outstanding receivables when required.
General Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical business practices, and safety guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant technical knowledge is an added advantage depending on the industry.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or direct sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication and selling skills may also be considered.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
