About the role
The Workday - Security and Compliance Engineer within the Enterprise Applications / HR, Legal & Compliance Systems team, which is part of the D&T CTO organization, will work closely with HR business teams, Tech Product & Service teams, third party vendors and service providers to ensure proper technical design, implementation, and support for Tech solutions and first-class tech enablement, standardization, continuous improvement, and compliance of end-to-end HR Talent and Recruitment tech solution landscape.
Key responsibilities
As a Workday - Security and Compliance Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in all aspects of software development and solution design, implementation and delivery on large complex projects or programs.
These responsibilities include some of the following:
Designing and configuration experience in domain policy, business process policy, authentication policy and login methodology.
Execution of controls, access management, and activity reviews.
Handling internal and external audits for Workday.
Support automation access reviews using Splunk and CyberArk.
Partner in access automation via SailPoint & Identity Management systems
Stay updated on Workday releases and best practices for Security.
Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
The Workday - Security and Compliance Engineer will have technical experience in their area specific to their domain, be accountable for technical artifacts (such as design specs, Tech continuity plans) and ensure full compliance with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements. They will also be responsible for working with Service Teams to manage change and release activities, including Software as a Service (SaaS) updates, in the production service and ensuring compliance. The incumbent will be expected to be a Workday - Talent and Recruitment expert, managing, and supporting relevant portfolio.
This pivotal role will be a part of our Business Enterprise Applications Technology team, reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager (Security and Compliance Engineer).
Expected Skills & Experience
9+ years of experience in any Workday module, preferably security in a large-scale organization.
Certified in Workday Security
SME in Workday Compliance /Audits, facing external and internal auditors.
Worked on HR Transformation life cycle.
Experience with Workday Implementation Projects.
Experience with agile/scrum techniques and production environments
