The Area Business Manager (ABM) will be responsible for driving growth, utilization and brand presence of Medivision across a defined area. The ABM will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, clinics, collection centres, and the local community while also expanding patient walk-ins and home collection services.
Key Responsibilities
1. B2B Growth (Doctor & Clinic Engagement)
a.
Regularly visit doctors (GPs, specialists, surgeons, gynecologists, pediatricians, etc.) to build and strengthen relationships.
b.
Present Medivision’s diagnostic test portfolio, new technology, and preventive health packages in an easy-to-understand way.
c.
Address queries from doctors regarding TAT, accuracy, and test availability.
d.
Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, small group meetings, and presentations to update doctors on diagnostic advancements.
e.
Ensure consistent referral inflow from existing doctors and increase conversion from new doctors.
2. Channel & Partner Management
a.
Identify potential collection centres, franchise partners, and pharmacy tie-ups to expand Medivision’s reach in the assigned area and discuss with Regional Sales Manager.
b.
Conduct due diligence before onboarding partners and ensure compliance with Medivision’s standards.
c.
Monitor channel partner performance (sample volumes, revenue contribution) and take corrective actions when targets are not met.
d.
Coordinate with Operations department to resolve operational or service issues faced by channel partners and ensure smooth coordination with central labs and logistics.
3. B2C Growth (Walk-ins & Home Collection)
a.
Promote Medivision’s preventive health check-up packages through local campaigns, health talks, and awareness programs.
b.
Actively promote home sample collection services, ensuring patients are aware of easy booking options.
c.
Coordinate with the operations and home collection team to ensure punctual sample collection and proper handling of patient service.
d.
Monitor patient feedback from home collection and walk-in services, resolving escalations quickly.
e.
Build local connections with residential associations, fitness centres, schools, and workplaces to run health camps and screening drives.
4. Team & Field Activity Management
Guide and monitor business executives in the territory.
b.
Set weekly and monthly visit plans for the team (doctor calls, partner visits, health camp activities).
c.
Conduct joint field visits with team members to coach them on effective doctor engagement and referral conversion.
d.
Track team performance against assigned targets; provide feedback and corrective guidance.
e.
Ensure all field executives maintain daily activity reports, CRM entries, and compliance with company SOPs.
5. Operational Coordination
a.
Work closely with Lab incharges and Centre managers, lab technicians, and logistics staff to ensure timely sample pick-up and report delivery.
b.
Monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) performance for the area and escalate issues when delays occur.
c.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure proper sample handling and temperature maintenance during transit.
d.
Ensure all service promises made to doctors, partners, or patients are fulfilled.
e.
Address operational challenges (e.g., delayed reports, stock shortages, missed collections) by coordinating with relevant teams.
6. Local Marketing & Community Outreach
a.
Plan and execute local health camps, screening programs, and awareness drives in coordination with marketing.
b.
Identify opportunities for brand visibility through society tie-ups, schools, gyms, and wellness events.
c.
Distribute promotional material (brochures, posters, standees) in strategic locations within the territory.
d.
Capture patient testimonials and success stories to strengthen trust and reputation in the community.
e.
Ensure all promotional activities comply with ethical healthcare marketing practices.
7. Reporting & Analysis
a.
Maintain a database of all doctors, clinics, and partners in the territory, updated regularly with engagement status.
b.
Submit timely reports on referrals, patient footfalls, home collection growth, and partner performance.
c.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to the regional leadership team.
d.
Track competitor activities (discounting, new packages, camp activities) and share insights for strategic planning.
e.
Use data from CRM and dashboards to identify weak areas and plan corrective actions.
