Job description -
Hiring for Construction Industry
- Cost Estimation & Planning: Reviewing blueprints and project plans to calculate the quantities and costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed.
- Tendering & Procurement: Preparing tender packages, contract documents, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) to secure bids from contractors and vendors.
- Contract Administration: Negotiating contracts, analyzing terms, and managing legal and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitoring ongoing expenses, updating budgets when design changes occur, and compiling regular financial progress reports.
- Valuations & Payments: Assessing the value of completed construction work and overseeing payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Dispute Resolution: Managing and negotiating claims, variations, and final accounts to resolve financial discrepancies between clients and contractors.
