Key Responsibilities
- Triage & Diagnosis: Promptly assessing patients to prioritize those with life-threatening conditions.
- Stabilization & Treatment: Initiating life-saving treatments for conditions like cardiac arrest, trauma, or severe infections.
- Medical Procedures: Performing emergency procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, chest tube placement, and suturing.
- Patient Disposition: Determining if a patient needs admission to the hospital, transfer to a specialist, or discharge with follow-up care.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborating with nurses, specialists, and laboratory staff to ensure effective, fast-paced care.
- Documentation & Leadership: Maintaining accurate medical records and providing leadership within the ER during crisis situations
- Education: Medical degree (MD/MBBS) followed by specialized residency training in Emergency Medicine.
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) are typically required.

Work Environment
- ER doctors work in fast-paced hospital Emergency Departments or urgent care clinics.
- Schedules often include long shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays to ensure 24/7 care coverage.
Pay: ₹83,455.90 - ₹159,585.31 per month
