Job Title : Electrical Engineer, (5–8 years Experience)
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, coordination, review, and delivery of electrical engineering systems for architectural, commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, healthcare, education, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
The role involves leading electrical design activities from concept through detailed design, tender documentation, construction support, and project closeout while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, client requirements
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead the design and development of electrical engineering systems for projects of varying complexity and scale.
- Prepare and review electrical engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, schedules, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Conduct engineering analysis and design optimization to achieve technical and commercial objectives.
- Manage electrical engineering deliverables throughout all project stages.
- Ensure timely completion of design packages in accordance with project schedules.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination meetings.
- Coordinate electrical engineering requirements with architectural, structural, mechanical, and specialist disciplines.
- Review design changes and assess technical impacts on project scope, cost, and schedule.
- Assist project managers in planning engineering resources and workload allocation.
- Monitor project progress and identify risks affecting project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, applicable codes, and Company standards.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to technical queries during construction.
- Conduct site inspections and provide construction support as required.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to successful project delivery.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant electrical engineering design experience architectural, engineering, or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects within the UAE and GCC region.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, healthcare, education, and large-scale developments is preferred.
- Experience in managing projects through multiple design stages, including concept, schematic, detailed design, tender documentation, and construction support.
- Familiarity with authority requirements such as DEWA, ADDC, AADC, Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, or other relevant authorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering institution.
