Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical SEO Manager to lead our organic search strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and optimizing user engagement. You will collaborate closely with content, web development, and broader marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute SEO Strategy: Create and manage comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic.
Keyword & Competitor Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide content teams and analyze competitor strategies to identify gaps and opportunities.
Technical SEO: Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues (crawlability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, core web vitals, site architecture).
Content Optimization: Partner with the content team to optimize existing pages, blogs, and landing pages, and provide SEO briefs for net-new content.
Link Building: Design and execute ethical, high-quality link-building campaigns to improve domain authority.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor daily performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush. Provide weekly and monthly reports to leadership on traffic, rankings, and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and with product teams to ensure SEO is baked into new website features.
Stay Updated: Keep a pulse on the ever-evolving landscape of search engine algorithms, AI search updates, and industry trends to adapt strategies proactively.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a proven track record of successfully growing organic traffic and rankings.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical SEO elements (HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup).
SEO Tools: Mastery of industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
Data-Driven: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
Content Strategy: Deep understanding of search intent, content clustering, and how to create content that ranks.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical team members.
