Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical assemblies for automatic labelling and packaging machines.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Develop assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Select suitable mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, motors, gearboxes, belts, conveyors, sensors, and pneumatic components.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Service departments during project execution.
- Modify existing machine designs based on customer requirements and field feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with manufacturing, safety, and quality standards.
- Support machine assembly and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
- Participate in machine trials, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision records.
- Conduct cost optimization and value engineering for machine components.
- Coordinate with vendors for outsourced fabrication and purchased components.
- Prepare technical documentation and operating manuals when required.
- Continuously improve existing machine designs for higher efficiency and reliability.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
