Job Summary
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the organization's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, and effective cash flow management. The role also includes leading the accounts team, coordinating audits, and supporting management with financial planning and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management :
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and MIS reports.
Statutory Compliance :
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, GST, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.
- Handle ROC, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements, where applicable.
Banking & Treasury :
- Manage banking operations, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks for loans, credit facilities, and financial documentation.
- Monitor cash balances and optimize fund management.
Accounts Operations :
- Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Review vendor payments, customer collections, and reconciliations.
- Verify journal entries, invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Provide training and guidance to improve efficiency and compliance.
Internal Controls & Reporting :
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare financial reports and management presentations.
- Support business planning and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems, Tally, SAP, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with high accuracy.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
