About the Business Unit
TOI is India’s largest and most influential news publisher in English. We inform and actively engage you to drive progress at a local and national level. We bring you the latest news, analysis and videos across current affairs, business, entertainment, sports, lifestyle and culture everyday.
About the Role:
As a Product Design Intern at TOI, you will be responsible for crafting delightful user experiences for TOI products, a role crucial to our success and where your contribution will be valued.

What You will get to learn:
- Closely work with the Product design team to understand the design process @TOI.
- Work with Product Managers to understand product problems.
- Conduct user research with end users.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, screen flows and high-fidelity dev-ready prototypes.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure proper implementation, consistency, and
integrity of the creative vision and style guide.
- Design quality testing of the product before going live.
What are we looking for?
- 0-1 year(s) of relevant design experience
- Strong empathy towards the end users and passion for solving problems by creating delightful user experiences.
- Understanding of Design principles and strong work ethics.
- Knowledge of the industry’s latest design trends and awareness of emerging technologies.
- Working knowledge of Figma or any other design tool.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Provide a portfolio of work that reflects your skills as a designer/interface designer, if you have any.
- Degree in a design-related field and recognised UX / UI certifications
