Position Overview:
This position involves managing the development of new food and beverage products from concept to commercialization. The role includes leading NPD projects, coordinating with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing quality and testing, and communicating product concepts to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage new product development projects from ideation to launch.
2. Drive innovation aligned with food trends, flavors, and consumer needs.
3. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing for scalable product development.
4. Develop recipes, source ingredients, and ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Conduct ingredient calculations, proximate analysis, and shelf-life studies.
6. Perform market research and analyze consumer insights to guide product ideation.
7. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA) and quality standards.
8. Coordinate product testing, quality control, and approval processes.
9. Work with packaging teams for appealing and functional product presentation.
10. Communicate and brief customers on product concepts and innovations.
11. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, reporting progress to leadership.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related field
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority:
Empowered to make project and cross-functional decisions in partnership with peers.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in food product development or applied food science R&D
Travel:
Ability to travel as required

Remuneration:

Pay: ₹380,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
