As a Sales Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping customers find the right flooring and furnishing solutions for their homes and commercial spaces. From understanding their requirements to guiding them through our range of products, you'll ensure every customer has a positive experience. You'll also work closely with the rest of the team to maintain an organised showroom and support day-to-day sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the showroom and understand their requirements, preferences and budget.
- Recommend suitable flooring and furnishing products including wooden flooring, SPC flooring, carpets, wallpapers, curtains, blinds and related solutions.
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and maintenance requirements in a clear and confident manner.
- Prepare quotations and assist customers throughout the sales process from enquiry to order confirmation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, interior designers, contractors and project clients.
- Follow up on enquiries and quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with the installation and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, sales and payments.
- Keep the showroom clean, well-organised, and visually appealing by ensuring products and displays are presented professionally.
- Stay updated on new products, industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Support inventory checks and report stock shortages or customer demand trends to the management team.
- Handle customer queries, concerns and after-sales requests professionally and efficiently.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity and a customer-first approach at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary). A graduate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in retail sales, furniture, interiors, building materials or a related field will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email and quotation preparation).
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid two-wheeler driving licence and access to a personal two-wheeler for local customer visits, site inspections, and other business-related travel when required.
- Willingness to learn about flooring, furnishing products, and interior design trends.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
