- Read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Assemble machine parts and mechanical components according to specifications.
- Install and align shafts, bearings, gears, motors, and other machine components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely.
- Perform machine fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, and welding support work (if required).
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Test assembled machines and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly and installation.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing machines.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to complete work on time.
