About the Role - UAV Technician
This role is highly hands-on and focused on precision assembly, wiring, and integration of UAV systems. You will be working directly on building and preparing drones for deployment.
As a UAV Technician, you shall:

Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of UAV systems and subassemblies

Integrate components such as motors, ESCs, flight controllers, sensors, and payload systems
-
Follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and SOPs for accurate builds
-
Perform disassembly and reassembly for maintenance and rework
-
Fabricate wire harnesses as per schematics and standards
-
Perform crimping, soldering, insulation, and connector terminations
-
Ensure proper routing, dressing, and securing of wiring within UAV structures
-
Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical validation
-
Perform basic testing using multimeters and standard tools
-
Identify and troubleshoot issues in wiring, connectors, and assemblies
-
Support engineers in integration testing and validation activities
-
Maintain build records, checklists, and QC documentation
-
Record part replacements, rework details, and observations
-
Ensure adherence to quality standards and assembly procedures
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment
-
Follow safety practices and handling guidelines for tools and components

Hands-on experience in:
-
Soldering (through-hole & connector soldering)
-
Crimping (JST, Dupont etc.)
-
Wire harness preparation & routing
-
Ability to read and understand:
-
Wiring diagrams
-
Basic electrical schematics
-
Familiarity with tools:

Multimeter
-
Basic hand tools (wire stripper, crimping tools, heat gun, etc.)

Good Precision in hand work and attention to detail

Basic computer skills:

Data entry (Excel/Google Sheets)
-
Documentation and checklist updates
-
Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics
-
OR ITI (Electrical/Electronics)
-
0-1 years of experience in:

Electronics assembly
-
UAV / automotive / robotics / manufacturing environment

Strong hands-on mindset over purely theoretical knowledge

Ability to learn quickly and adapt on the shop floor

Ownership of work and quality-first approach
