Qualification:
- ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) – MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education)
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) preferred
- 2–5 years of construction safety experience (Fresh ADIS candidates may also apply for trainee roles)
- Knowledge of Indian safety regulations and construction safety practices. ADIS is a recognized qualification for safety professionals in relevant industrial contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Monitor work permits including:
- Hot Work Permit
- Work at Height Permit
- Excavation Permit
- Confined Space Entry Permit
- Electrical Isolation (LOTO)
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Carry out risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Inspect scaffolding, lifting operations, cranes, ladders, and excavation activities.
- Ensure fire prevention measures and emergency response readiness.
- Coordinate emergency drills and first-aid arrangements.
- Maintain HSE records, registers, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE management systems.
- Good understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Report writing and incident investigation skills.
Preferred Certifications
- ADIS (MSBTE)
- First Aid Certification
- Fire & Safety Training
- NEBOSH IGC (preferred but not mandatory)
- IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
