The Textile Checker is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the quality of textiles, fabrics, and materials to ensure they meet company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations. This role involves conducting visual and physical inspections, testing, and measuring textiles to detect defects, irregularities, and variations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect textiles for defects, such as weaving errors, color inconsistencies, and fabric damage.
2. Conduct physical tests (e.g., tensile strength, fabric density, and colorfastness).
3. Measure textiles for dimensional accuracy, weight, and thread count.
4. Evaluate fabric texture, softness, and drape.
5. Identify and document defects, irregularities, and variations.
6. Compare textiles to company standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations.
7. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing data, and quality control reports.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.

1. 1-2 years of experience in textile inspection, quality control, or related industry.
2. Strong knowledge of textile properties, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
3. Excellent observational and analytical skills.
4. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
5. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
