Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, maintaining high hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Supervise and guide Commis and kitchen assistants.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Executive Chef for requisitions.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning and development when required.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations during service hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including experience as a CDP or Demi Chef de Partie.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Ability to lead a team and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Experience in hotel, resort, or fine-dining environments preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
