Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics to handle Higher Secondary classes (Standard XI and XII). The ideal candidate will possess deep subject matter expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and a proven track record of preparing students successfully for both Matriculation Board Exams and national-level competitive exams (NEET/JEE).
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, concept-driven physics lessons to Grades 11 and 12 in strict accordance with the Tamil Nadu State Board (Samacheer Kalvi) syllabus.
- Board Exam Preparation: Conduct rigorous revision sessions, clear student doubts, and implement strategic test schedules (Revision Tests, Mid-Terms, and Public Exam Mock Drills) to achieve 100% pass percentages and high centering scores.
- Practical Lab Management: Conduct regular physics practical sessions in the laboratory, training students meticulously in handling apparatus, taking accurate readings, and maintaining standard-compliant lab records.
- Competitive Integration: Seamlessly blend board exam concepts with foundational multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to assist students preparing for NEET and JEE.
- Student Evaluation: Set balanced question papers following the state board blueprint, evaluate answer scripts promptly, maintain progress reports, and organize remedial classes for slow learners.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: Conduct regular updates with parents regarding student attendance, academic tracking, and behavioral progress.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: M.Sc. in Physics from a recognized university along with a mandatory B.Ed. degree.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of teaching experience handling Higher Secondary (11th and 12th) classes under the Matriculation/State Board or CBSE framework.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English, deep familiarity with the Tamil Nadu state textbook patterns, strong whiteboard management, and a knack for explaining abstract mathematical derivations simply.
Part 2: Interview Demo Lesson Plan
A standard teaching demo lasts roughly 10 to 15 minutes.
Topic Selected: Coulomb's Law (From Unit 1: Electrostatics)
- Target Class: XII Standard
- Duration: 15 Minutes
- Objective: To explain the quantitative force between two stationary point charges and introduce the concept of the permittivity of free space.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
