JOB DESCRIPTION FOR GENERAL PHYSICIAN
Qualifications:
- Education: MBBS or MD
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of clinical and OPD experience
- License: Valid DMC (Mandatory)
- Location: Residing in South Delhi or Central Delhi (Preferred)
- Desirable:
- Experience with overseas patients/expats
- Knowledge of CDC and NHS norms
- Experience in vaccinations for children, adults, and geriatric populations
- Punctuality
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Activities:
- Patient Consultations:
- Conduct comprehensive patient history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including:
- Respiratory infections (colds, flu, pneumonia)
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Allergies and skin conditions
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Cardiovascular conditions
- Diabetes management
- Women's health concerns
- Minor injuries and trauma
- Provide empathetic patient consulting and education on health management and disease prevention.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage chronic conditions effectively, including medication adjustments and lifestyle modifications.
- Diagnostics & Procedures:
- Order and interpret laboratory tests (blood tests, urinalysis, etc.).
- Perform minor procedures such as:
- Pap smears
- Suturing
- Wound dressing
- Injections (including vaccinations)
- IV fluid administration
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records (medical history, examination results, treatment plans).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical regulations and guidelines.
- Stay abreast of the latest medical advancements, treatments, and medications through continuing medical education.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record software (EMR)
- Other Requirements:
- Punctuality is mandatory.
Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chanakyapuri, Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
