Job Summary:
Pallavi International School, Sagar Road is seeking an energetic and skilled Skating Coach to train and mentor students in skating techniques, fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. The candidate should be passionate about developing young athletes and preparing students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct skating training sessions for students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach skating fundamentals, advanced techniques, balance, coordination, and safety practices.
- Identify and nurture talented students for competitive events and championships.
- Organize practice schedules, drills, and fitness activities to improve student performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of skating equipment and rink facilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare students for school events, competitions, and demonstrations.
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and team spirit among students.
- Coordinate with school management regarding sports activities and event planning.
- Promote physical fitness, confidence, and sportsmanship through coaching.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or relevant field is preferred.
- National Merit Certification in Skating is Mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of coaching experience in schools or sports academies.
- Experience in training students for district/state/national competitions is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of skating techniques, safety measures, and fitness training.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
