We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Placement Officer / Placement Executive to manage and strengthen our student placement activities.
Job Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with companies, identifying relevant job opportunities, coordinating recruitment processes, and supporting students throughout the placement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with MNCs, corporate organizations, SMEs, and other companies for student placement opportunities.
- Build and continuously expand the company's employer network across relevant industries.
- Identify and source suitable job vacancies for our students and coordinate recruitment requirements with companies.
- Coordinate interviews, aptitude tests, HR rounds, online/offline recruitment drives, and other selection processes.
- Maintain regular communication with HR managers, recruiters, talent acquisition teams, and company representatives.
- Understand employer requirements and match suitable students with relevant job opportunities.
- Manage the complete placement process from company requirement collection to student selection and joining.
- Provide placement guidance, interview preparation and career support to students.
- Maintain updated records of company contacts, vacancies, interviews, selections and student placement status.
- Prepare regular placement reports and provide updates to management.
- Develop long-term corporate relationships to create recurring placement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the academic/training team to understand student skills and job readiness.
- Follow up with companies regarding shortlisted candidates and joining status.
- Explore new placement opportunities in Data Analytics, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Intelligence and related job roles.
- Meet company representatives and visit organizations when required for business development and placement activities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly placement targets assigned by management.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, career services, or a similar role, preferably in the education/training sector.
- Strong existing connections with MNCs, companies, HR professionals and recruitment teams will be highly preferred.
- Previous experience in placing candidates/students in Data Analytics, Logistics, Accounting or related job roles is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes and corporate hiring requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently approach companies and generate new placement opportunities.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and maintaining placement databases will be an advantage.
- Candidates with an established corporate/HR network will be given preference.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Existing relationships with HR departments and recruitment teams.
- A proven record of generating placement opportunities.
- Experience working with educational institutions, skill-development centers, training academies or similar organizations.
- Experience handling placements for Data Analyst, MIS Executive, Business Analyst, Logistics Executive, Accountant, Finance Executive and related positions.
- The ability to achieve measurable placement targets and build long-term employer partnerships.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
