Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials for our solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment and components are acquired cost-effectively, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time to keep our projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement: Procure essential solar project materials, including solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and Balance of System (BOS) components.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing vendors.
- Negotiation: Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms to optimize project costs without compromising on material quality.
- Order Processing: Prepare, review, and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Tracking & Coordination: Follow up with suppliers to track dispatches and ensure on-time delivery to project sites. Coordinate seamlessly with engineering, quality, and on-site project teams to align procurement with technical requirements.
- Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records, update vendor databases, and manage inventory tracking logs.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
