We are looking for a passionate and creative Architect with a strong design sensibility and technical expertise to join our growing Chennai team.
Role Overview
The Architect will play a key role in conceptualizing and designing luxury wedding décor, destination weddings, and experiential event environments. The role focuses on set design, spatial planning, floor plans, technical detailing, AI-assisted visualization, and high-quality 3D renders that translate creative concepts into production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, visualization, and creating immersive wedding experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design luxury wedding stages, mandaps, venue layouts, entrance installations, lounges, and experiential event environments.
- Develop creative concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and space planning layouts for weddings and destination events.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation for production.
- Create accurate 3D models, photorealistic renders, and presentation visuals for client approvals.
- Utilize AI visualization tools to rapidly develop concepts, explore design variations, and enhance presentations.
- Coordinate with the design, production, fabrication, and execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and prepare venue layouts and execution drawings.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical detailing for décor structures and installations.
- Resolve design and execution challenges during fabrication and on-site installation.
- Ensure every design is aesthetically compelling, technically feasible, and production-ready while meeting project timelines.
- Stay updated with trends in luxury weddings, event design, visualization technologies, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization software.
- Experience with AI image generation and visualization tools is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong skills in set design, floor planning, spatial design, technical detailing, rendering, and visualization.
- Excellent understanding of fabrication methods, construction detailing, materials, and production processes.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and destination projects.
