Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance Location: Pune
Educational Qualification CA / CMA / MBA / PGDM (Finance) from a reputed institute Experience 10–12 years of post-qualification experience Mandatory: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Real Estate / Construction industry Role Summary The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting and finance function for real estate projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and strong process controls. The incumbent will work closely with senior management, auditors, and project teams to ensure financial discipline, cost control, and timely closure of books. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure Ensure accurate accounting as per Indian GAAP / Ind AS Prepare and review financial statements, project-wise reports, and disclosures Monitor general ledger controls, reconciliations, and journal entries Track project costing, revenue recognition, and profitability 2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with RERA, GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act regulations Handle statutory filings, returns, and regulatory reporting Liaise with consultants and authorities for compliance-related matters Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (direct & indirect taxation) 3. Audit & Governance Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits Coordinate with external auditors and consultants Ensure closure of audit observations with corrective actions Support management and board reporting requirements 4. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards Provide financial insights on project performance and cost optimization Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Track cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital management 5. Process Controls & System Management Strengthen internal controls and accounting SOPs Ensure compliance with ICFR (Internal Financial Controls) Work with ERP/accounting systems (Tally / SAP / Oracle or similar) Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives 6. Team & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor junior finance team members Coordinate with cross-functional teams – Projects, Sales, Legal, Procurement Act as a key finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Indian GAAP, and real estate accounting practices Experience in project accounting, RERA compliance, and cost tracking Hands-on exposure to audits, taxation, and MIS reporting Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
