Position: Junior Frontend Developer
Location: Bangalore
Working Days: 5 (Mon-Fri)
Experience Required: 1-2 Years
At Our Client, our web platform is where users discover events, book tickets, and engage with live entertainment across India. As we continue to scale, we need frontend developers who are excited to build great user experiences and grow into strong product engineers.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in React who enjoys solving frontend challenges, writing clean code, and learning by building real things that real people use.
- Build and maintain user-facing features using React.
- Convert designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web interfaces.
- Integrate REST APIs and implement product features with guidance from senior developers.
- Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow frontend best practices.
- Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to ship features.
- Learn from senior engineers and contribute to technical discussions.
- Stay current with modern React practices and bring that knowledge to the team.
- 1 to 2 years of experience building web applications with React.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React fundamentals.
- Experience integrating REST APIs in a web context.
- Familiarity with Git and modern frontend development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Ownership mindset. You take responsibility for your work and follow through.
- Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks.
- Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Basic understanding of responsive design and web performance optimization.
- Interest in consumer products, live entertainment, or event-tech platforms.
- You write code you'd want to maintain two years later. Long-term scalability matters here. The web platform is growing and the decisions you make now shape what we build next.
- You take features all the way. From development to release, you own the outcome. Handoff culture doesn't work at this stage.
- You care about how it feels, not just whether it works. Performance and reliability matter to fans. A laggy checkout or broken interaction is a broken experience.
- You communicate clearly across teams. Product and Design need to understand your constraints. Backend needs to understand your requests. You bridge that gap without friction.
- You thrive when priorities shift. Live entertainment doesn't follow a predictable roadmap. You adapt without losing momentum.
