The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate general ledgers, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance. Given PRMK Energy's operations in energy trading and infrastructure, the role also requires supporting commercial power settlements, project billing, and audit preparations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Core Accounting & General Ledger
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime / SAP).
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledgers (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) on a monthly basis.
- Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and liquidity management.
2. Energy Sector & Commercial Operations
- Assist in tracking financial aspects of power trading, REC/E-certificate transactions, and electrical/solar project execution costs.
- Maintain records for vendor contracts, client billings, grid/transmission charges, and Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM) accounts where applicable.
- Support commercial aspects of power transfer and energy asset accounting.
3. Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely calculation, filing, and payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESIC.
- Assist with regulatory filings required by corporate and energy authorities (such as MCA/ROC compliances and CERC-related documentation updates).
4. Financial Reporting & Auditing
- Assist the Finance Head in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements).
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, providing required schedules, ledger extracts, and documentation for annual audits.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and budget variance analyses to support management decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance).
- Experience: 1 to 2+ years of hands-on corporate accounting experience. Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage.

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and computerized accounting systems (Tally Prime, ERP packages).
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and tax laws (GST/TDS).
Pay: ₹8,608.04 - ₹50,721.93 per month
