The Manometry & FibroScan Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures including esophageal manometry, anorectal manometry, 24-hour pH impedance monitoring, and FibroScan (Transient Elastography) under the supervision of a gastroenterologist. The technician ensures accurate patient preparation, safe procedure execution, equipment maintenance, quality documentation, infection control, and excellent patient care while adhering to NABH standards.
Patient care
Inventory and Equipment management
Documentation & Quality
Infection controll and safety practices. are the other responsibilities.
B.Sc. in Medical Technology / Allied Health Sciences / Nursing / Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent.
Also any certificated or trainings in GI mobility studies and Fibroscan is prefered
