Electrical Engineer – CVD Diamond Manufacturing Project
We are establishing a state-of-the-art Lab Grown Diamond (CVD Rough Manufacturing) facility equipped with advanced CVD growing machines. Our manufacturing plant is currently under construction, and we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the complete electrical execution, installation, and commissioning of the project.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer with experience in industrial electrical systems and plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and commissioning the electrical infrastructure required for a CVD diamond manufacturing facility, including coordination with civil contractors, machine suppliers, utility providers, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the complete electrical infrastructure for the manufacturing plant.
- Coordinate electrical work during the building construction phase.
- Design and supervise HT/LT electrical systems.
- Coordinate with DGVCL/GETCO and electrical consultants for power connections and approvals.
- Plan transformer, DG set, PCC, MCC, APFC panel, cable routing, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Manage installation of electrical panels, switchgear, cable trays, and power distribution systems.
- Coordinate utility requirements for CVD growing machines.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of CVD machines from an electrical perspective.
- Ensure proper load balancing and energy-efficient power distribution.
- Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with machine manufacturers and contractors during installation.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with IS standards and electrical safety regulations.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans after plant commissioning.
- Maintain electrical drawings, SLDs, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Experience with industrial power distribution.
- Electrical panel design and installation.
- Transformer and substation coordination.
- Earthing and lightning protection.
- Cable sizing and cable tray planning.
- Knowledge of DG sets and UPS systems.
- AutoCAD (Electrical) preferred.
- MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Understanding of industrial automation is an added advantage.
- Good project coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with relevant experience may also apply)
Experience
- 1-2 years in industrial electrical projects.
- Experience in new factory setup or greenfield projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with CVD/HPHT plants will be a significant advantage.
