About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, understanding their career goals, and helping them choose the right training programs to advance their professional journey.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for engaging prospective students, guiding them through the enrollment process, and achieving admission targets through a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Understand candidate profiles, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
- Provide detailed information about training programs, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Follow up with inquiries and nurture leads through the admission cycle.
- Convert qualified leads into enrollments and achieve monthly targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing and academic teams to improve lead conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Provide post-enrollment support and ensure student satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Business, or related fields preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in Inside Sales, Academic Counseling, Business Development, or EdTech Sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence decision-making.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to achieve targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English and at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EdTech, Training, Education, Healthcare, or Career Counseling.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent presentation and customer engagement skills.
