Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented HR Associate to join our team. At Blown, our people are our brand. As an HR Associate, you will play a crucial role in sourcing top beauty talent (stylists, beauticians, receptionists), maintaining a vibrant and supportive workplace culture, and handling day-to-day HR administration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Source & Recruit: Active sourcing of beauty professionals (Hair Stylists, Nail Technicians, Beauticians, Salon Receptionists, and Managers) through job boards, social media (Indeed/LinkedIn), and beauty schools.
- Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate practical/technical auditions with Management.
- Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, aligned with our brand culture, and equipped with their uniform/tools on day one.
2. Employee Relations & Culture
- Point of Contact: Act as the go-to person for staff inquiries regarding policies, schedules, and benefits.
- Engagement: Organize team-building events, team meetings, employee recognition programs etc.
3. HR Administration & Compliance
- Data Management: Maintain accurate employee digital files, including certifications, licenses, and contracts.
- Attendance & Scheduling: Assist managers in tracking attendance, managing time-off requests, and monitoring shift compliance.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the finance/payroll team to provide accurate data on base hours, commissions, tips, and retail product bonuses.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience: Fresher or 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally within retail, hospitality, salon/spa, or a similar fast-paced, customer-facing industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—you must love talking to people!
Preferred:
- A genuine interest in the beauty, wellness, or fashion industry.
