Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and web development, a passion for continuous learning, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure PHP web applications
- Design and implement efficient and reusable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers to deliver project requirements
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to team members
- Continuously improve and optimize the performance of existing applications
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web development and share knowledge with the team
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP web development
- Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Strong understanding of web standards and best practices
- Experience with MySQL and database design
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Linux and server administration is a plus
