Production Manager
Location: Surajpur Site C, Greater Noida
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality, productivity, and delivery commitments. The ideal candidate should have strong shop-floor leadership, manpower management, production planning, and process improvement experience within a CNC machining environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Execution
- Execute production plans as per customer requirements and PPC schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Monitor daily production output and align activities with dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with PPC for planning adjustments and production priorities.
- Ensure smooth workflow and efficient job sequencing.
Shop Floor Management
- Oversee CNC machining operations including VMC, Turning, and related manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Resolve production challenges and bottlenecks proactively.
- Maintain strong shop-floor leadership and operational discipline.
Team Management & Productivity
- Lead operators, supervisors, and production staff.
- Allocate manpower based on production requirements and skill levels.
- Monitor workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
- Support employee training and skill development initiatives.
- Foster accountability and performance-focused work culture.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower utilization, and workflow.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to approved production processes and methods.
Quality Coordination
- Work closely with Quality teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Support first-piece approvals, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
- Assist in reducing rejection and rework through effective process control.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Material & Production Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor WIP levels and maintain efficient production flow.
- Ensure proper handling and traceability of materials on the shop floor.
- Identify potential material shortages and communicate proactively.
Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with Maintenance teams for preventive maintenance activities.
- Support timely resolution of machine-related issues.
- Monitor downtime and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily production and performance reports.
- Track KPIs including output, efficiency, machine utilization, downtime, and productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records in ERP/MES systems where applicable.
- Provide timely operational updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5–6 years of experience in CNC Machining Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong experience in production planning and shop-floor operations.
- Hands-on experience managing production teams and achieving production targets.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, VMC, Turning, and manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
