Job Title: Analyst / Senior Analyst – Trustee Reporting (CLO Operations)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the CLO Trustee Reporting team. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and delivering trustee reports for Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance with transaction documents, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review periodic CLO trustee reports, including monthly and quarterly investor reports, payment date reports, compliance reports, and collateral performance reports.
- Analyze CLO indentures and transaction documents to understand reporting requirements, waterfall calculations, coverage tests, concentration limitations, and compliance criteria.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation of collateral holdings, loan positions, cash balances, interest collections, principal proceeds, and trade activity.
- Monitor and calculate key CLO metrics, including:
- Overcollateralization (OC) tests
- Interest Coverage (IC) tests
- Weighted Average Rating Factor (WARF)
- Weighted Average Spread (WAS)
- Weighted Average Life (WAL)
- Diversity score and concentration tests
- Review cash flow waterfalls and payment distributions to ensure compliance with governing documents.
- Coordinate with portfolio managers, collateral administrators, trustees, custodians, rating agencies, and internal teams to resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Process loan activities such as purchases, sales, repayments, restructurings, amendments, and corporate actions within CLO portfolios.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of reference data, asset classifications, ratings, pricing, and compliance attributes.
- Perform quality checks and maintain strong controls to minimize reporting errors and operational risks.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Assist with audits, client inquiries, and ad hoc reporting requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in CLO trustee reporting, collateral administration, structured finance operations, or loan operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of CLO structures, leveraged loans, credit agreements, and structured finance products.
- Knowledge of trustee reporting platforms and financial systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Ability to interpret legal documents such as CLO indentures and offering memorandums.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in CLO operations, trustee services, collateral administration, or structured finance reporting.
- Exposure to platforms such as Solvas, Wall Street Office (WSO), ClearPar, Bloomberg, or similar systems preferred.
