The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall daily operations of the cinema theatre, ensuring smooth functioning of theatre activities, customer satisfaction, staff management, safety compliance, and revenue growth. The role involves coordinating with all departments including ticketing, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and security to deliver an excellent movie-going experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily theatre operations and ensure smooth show execution.
- Supervise staff scheduling, attendance, and team performance.
- Monitor ticket sales, food & beverage operations, and revenue reports.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with technical, housekeeping, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Maintain safety, hygiene, and theatre standards as per company policies.
- Monitor inventory, stock usage, and vendor coordination.
- Prepare operational reports and submit updates to management.
- Ensure proper crowd management during peak hours and movie releases.
- Support marketing activities and promotional events inside the theatre.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in cinema theatre, mall, hospitality, or entertainment operations.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of theatre operations software is an added advantage.
