Position Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen utensils, dishes, cooking equipment, and service ware. The role supports kitchen operations by ensuring clean and sanitized tools are always available for food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities Dishwashing & Cleaning
- Wash dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
- Clean pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
- Ensure all items are properly sanitized before reuse.
- Operate dishwashing machines (if available) safely and efficiently.
Kitchen Hygiene & Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage properly.
- Clean sinks, counters, and workstations regularly.
- Follow hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
Support to Kitchen Staff
- Provide clean utensils and equipment to chefs and kitchen staff.
- Assist in basic kitchen cleaning tasks when required.
- Support during peak hours for smooth kitchen operations.
Equipment Handling
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and as per instructions.
- Report any damaged utensils or equipment to supervisor.
- Ensure proper care of dishwashing machines and tools.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- No formal education required (basic schooling preferred).
- Prior experience in restaurants or hotels is an advantage.
- Freshers can apply (training provided).
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for standing long hours and handling heavy utensils.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Teamwork and willingness to assist kitchen staff.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
