Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance of our applications and IT infrastructure while fostering a culture of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor and optimize server performance, network configurations, and system reliability.
- Manage Linux and Windows server environments.
CI/CD & Automation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Configure and manage monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and performance.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Manage access controls, firewalls, SSL certificates, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and policies.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with development teams to streamline software release processes.
- Provide technical support for deployment, infrastructure, and production-related issues.
- Participate in incident management and on-call support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Experience managing production environments with high availability requirements.
