We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Arbitration Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in complex construction disputes through arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. This role requires an in-depth understanding of construction law, contract interpretation, and international arbitration rules. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully resolving high-stakes construction-related conflicts.
- Represent clients in domestic and international construction arbitration proceedings, including ICC, LCIA, AAA, and ad hoc arbitrations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex construction law issues, contract disputes, and relevant statutes and regulations.
- Draft comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, arbitration requests, responses, witness statements, expert reports, and settlement agreements.
- Advise clients on various aspects of construction projects, including contract negotiation, risk management, claims prevention, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Manage all phases of arbitration cases from initial assessment to final award, including discovery, motions practice, and evidentiary hearings.
- Collaborate effectively with technical experts, quantity surveyors, engineers, and other professionals to build strong cases.
- Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on contractual obligations, potential liabilities, and dispute avoidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in construction law, arbitration rules, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and deliver compelling oral arguments during hearings and conferences.
