About the Role
Prominent is a Industrial consumables supply venture (part of an Australian business group) building its technology and operations team in Ahmedabad. We're hiring a Junior-to-Mid Full Stack Developer who can build web applications, customise Zoho CRM, and use AI tools to automate our operations.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with direct mentorship and fast growth potential. You'll be the technical engine behind our e-commerce store, CRM, and business integrations.
⏰ Important — Shift Timing: This is an in-office role in Ahmedabad with a fixed shift of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM IST, designed to overlap with our Australian business hours. Please only apply if these hours work for you long-term.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a Shopify webshop for our powder-coating supply business — theme/Liquid customisation, Shopify APIs, UX and checkout optimisation
- Administer and develop Zoho CRM — custom modules, workflows, Deluge scripting, layouts, and reports across Zoho One (CRM, Mail, Cliq, Sign)
- Build integrations connecting Shopify, Zoho, and accounting/inventory tools (Xero, Cin7 Core) using REST APIs and webhooks
- Use AI tools and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) to build internal automations and reduce manual work
- Write clean, documented code and support day-to-day technical operations
Must-Have Skills
- 1–3 years full-stack experience — JavaScript, Node.js, React (or similar)
- Working knowledge of Shopify (Liquid, theme customisation, or app/API work)
- Exposure to Zoho CRM customisation and Deluge (or strong willingness to learn fast)
- Basic API integration skills — REST, webhooks, JSON
- Comfort using AI/LLM tools in real workflows
- Git and basic SQL
Nice to Have
- Xero, Cin7 Core, or QuickBooks integration exposure
- Google Apps Script or automation experience
- Good written English (you'll work async with an Australian team)
- E-commerce or wholesale/B2B experience
